The search has resumed for a man who went missing off the Kerry coast on Thursday night.

Coastguard units have been joined by a Navy vessel and local sailors in the hunt for the man, in his 50s, who set sail on Wednesday evening.

The boat has been located but no one was on board.

The joint search is being conducted with the LE Ciara, the Waterville and Castletown coastguard searching the Dinish Ireland and Templenoe Point area.
