The searches for the remains of six people abducted and murdered by the IRA between 1972 and 1981 continued yesterday without any signs of success. Teams of gardai are looking for Jean McConville, at Templetown, Co Louth, Danny McIlhone, at Lagan in Co Wicklow, Columba McVeigh, near Emyvale in Co Monaghan, Brendan Megrew, at Oristown bog in Co Meath, and a double grave at Coghalstown Wood, also in Co Meath, for Seamus Wright and Kevin McKee.
