Search continues for missing Donegal man

The Killybegs Coast Guard unit has joined in the search for a young Donegal man who went missing yesterday morning.

Mr Brian Gillespie (24) from the Killybegs area has been missing since about 2 a.m. His jeep, a blue Diatsu with the registration number 88 DL 5357 is also missing.

An Aer Corps Helicopter based in Finner, which was involved in the search today, has been replaced by a Garda Helicopter.

Local scuba-divers also carried out a search in the areas around the piers in Killybegs harbour.

Mr Gillespie is described as being just over six feet in height, with short brown hair. Anyone with relevant information is asked to contact Killybegs Garda Station on 073 31002, or Ballyshannon Garda Station on 072 51102.
