The services of a physiotherapist and speech therapist at a special school in Co Mayo have been withdrawn since the beginning of this month because of the condition of the school building. St Anthony's Special Primary School in Castlebar has 53 pupils, who have a range of health problems ranging from Down's syndrome, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, diabetes, autism, blindness and deafness. The school is in appalling condition, according to Mayo TD Mr Jim Higgins.
