Romanians face fraud charges

Two Dublin-based Romanian nationals faced additional credit-card fraud charges at Ennis District Court yesterday.

Two Dublin-based Romanian nationals faced additional credit-card fraud charges at Ennis District Court yesterday.

Mr Costel Saulea (27) and Mr Popa Vasile (25), both of Terenure Road North, are on continuing bail after having been charged on 12 counts of fraud at service stations in the Galway and Clare areas last September. Yesterday both faced an additional 25 charges, including charges relating to credit-card fraud in Drogheda, Co Louth, on August 28th last.

They were remanded on continuing bail by Judge Mary Fahey to reappear before Ennis District Court on October 24th.
