Roach dinner costs $0.6m

CHARLOTTE, North Carolina - A jury awarded more than $600,000 to a woman who said she unwittingly ate half a cockroach at a Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant, though its management argued she planted the insect. But the jury deducted 10 per cent to cover what it said was Ms Darlene Henderson's negligence in not looking at what she was eating.
