Gardaí at Carlingford Garda Station are renewing their appeal for the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of two young girls aged 18 years and 16 years.

Amanda Clarke, 18 years of Riverstown, Dundalk has been missing from her home since 10.30 pm on 15th October, 2007 last.

Ms Clarke is described as 5ft 4ins, (1 m 62) slim build, light brown eyes and dark shoulder length straight hair. When last seen she was wearing a grey sweatshirt with a red logo on the front, blue jeans, and white runners.

She was driving her black peugeot 206 registration number 00 LH 8771 when she went missing and this car has not been located.

Patrice Loughran, 16 years of Dundalk Street, Carlingford went missing at the same time as Amanda.

Ms Loughran is described as 5ft tall, (1m 52) slim build, blue eyes and has dark brown shoulder length hair with red streaks on the bottom of hair.

When last seen she was wearing a pink t-shirt with navy tracksuit bottoms with writing down the leg, a blue coat with "backswing" written on it and white stripes.
