The Royal Dublin Society's equestrian committee is to meet on May 15th to decide if the 2001 Kerrygold Horse Show will take place in August this year in Balls bridge, Dublin.
Following a meeting yesterday with officials from the Department of Agriculture, Food and Rural Development, the committee decided to establish a number of working groups.
These will consider all aspects of the show in the light of the ongoing foot-and-mouth situation.
A statement from the society said that following its next meeting on May 15th, it will make a recommendation to the RDS board of management for final decision.
