A publican who spent 24 hours in jail for contempt of court was released yesterday when he apologised to Judge Patrick Moran at Cork Circuit Court. Mr William Creagh, licensee of the Joshua Tree, Blarney Street, Cork, said he was very sorry for allowing music to be played at his premises in breach of a previous court order.
