Four guns and a quantity of ammunition have been seized by the PSNI in Dromore, Co Down last night.
The weapons - two revolvers, a pistol and a machine-pistol - were found in undergrowth. They were sent for ballistic examination.
Other items recovered during the police operation were sent for forensic examination, said a police spokeswoman.
No arrests were made.
