The discovery of a man’s body close to a railway track in Co Derry was being investigated by the PSNI tonight.
The body was found feet from the track at Downhill Beach on the coast, a short distance from Coleraine.
Police said a member of the public out walking in the area found the body and raised the alarm.
It was not immediately known how the man died, but first indications were that he had not been hit by a train.
