A teenage schoolgirl was feared abducted in Northern Ireland, police said.

It is believed Emma Wilson, 15, may be in the company of a man in the Greater Belfast area.

The 15-year-old went missing from her home in Dhu-Varren, Portrush, Co Antrim last Thursday.

A police spokeswoman said: "Detectives investigating the incident believe that Emma has been abducted, is under the control of an older man, and has been taken to the Belfast area."

It is understood Emma has been missing before but police are concerned for her safety.

She is described as 5ft 1in, of thin build with shoulder length dark brown hair with blonde streaks.

Emma was last seen wearing her school uniform - a grey jumper and trousers and a blue blazer - but may since have changed her clothes.
