A pregnant woman escaped serious injury last night when her home in Armagh City was attacked by arsonists.

A pregnant woman escaped serious injury last night when her home in Armagh City was attacked by arsonists.

The PSNI said windows were smashed at the house in Lisanally Gardens and a petrol bomb was thrown at the front door, causing scorch damage.

The woman was physically unhurt, but was brought to hospital to receive treatment for shock.

Police did not speculate as to a motive for the attack.

Meanwhile, four flats were destroyed in another suspected arson attack in Dungannon, Co Tyrone.There were no injuries in the attack at the building in Dunlea Vale at around 9.30 p.m. last night. Police are investigating the incident.
