Jerusalem - Waving palm and olive branches, thousands of pilgrims marked Palm Sunday yesterday by retracing the entry of Christ into Jerusalem.
Christians from dozens of nations joined Palestinian Catholics in a procession down the Mount of Olives, led by the head of the Catholic Church in the Holy Land, to mark the beginning of Holy Week.
