Petrol bomb attack on house in east Belfast

A number of petrol bombs were thrown at an unoccupied house in a nationalist area of east Belfast last night.

A number of petrol bombs were thrown at an unoccupied house in a nationalist area of east Belfast last night.

Two hit the roof of a house at Strand Walk in the Short Strand area after 9.30 pm.

The house was empty at the time and there were no injuries.

Elsewhere, PSNI officers found a stash of primed petrol bombs in the Rathkyle area of Antrim. There were no arrests.
