A female pedestrian has died after she was struck by a motorbike in Co Clare today.
Gardaí at Ennis Station are investigating the collision which happened shortly before noon at Daragh, some 5 miles outside Ennis on the main Ennis to Kilrush Road.
The woman was removed to Ennis General Hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
The deceased's name has not yet been released.
