A part-time Royal Irish Regiment soldier appeared in Cookstown Magistrate's Court yesterday charged with murdering a man in a Co Tyrone hotel at the weekend. Mr Glen Graham Stronge (27), a lorry-driver, was remanded in custody. He is accused of murdering Mr Colin Foy (27), of Mullaghfad Road, Fivemiletown, in the Four Ways Hotel, Fivemiletown. Mr Foy, a Catholic, was shot as he sat in the packed hotel shortly after midnight on Sunday.
