The International Rugby Board (IRB) has announced five nominees for their International Player of the Year award, including Brian O'Driscoll and Keith Wood.
The IRB also named the Irish pairs Lions teammate Jonny Wilkinson, Australia's new captain George Gregan and compatriot flanker George Smith.
The winner will be announced at an awards ceremony in London on Sunday, November 11th.
A panel of former international players led by former Wales and Lions wing Gerald Davies will also decide on the Team of the Year and Coach of the Year.
