New York Times Digital, along with the Google search engine and four other Internet content providers, will join Vodafone's Vizzavi global mobile Internet platform.
The platform, jointly developed with Vivendi Universal, is intended to offer Vodafone subscribers information services via data services such as GPRS and 3G, Vodafone said.
The firm said the other partners are MedicinePlanet, ScreamingMedia, Cambridge Technology Partners and AirFlash.
