New York - An employee of the New York Post has tested positive for skin anthrax, the newspaper said yesterday

New York - An employee of the New York Post has tested positive for skin anthrax, the newspaper said yesterday. The infected employee, the fourth person at a New York media outlet to contract anthrax, is a female member of the support staff for the editorial page. The case was the eight confirmed US anthrax infection.

Meanwhile, the New York Times said its Rio de Janeiro bureau had received a letter that tested positive for "bacteria or spores consistent with anthrax."
