A new Sunday train service between Dublin and Drogheda will begin this weekend

A new Sunday train service between Dublin and Drogheda will begin this weekend. The service has been introduced to meet demand caused by "a dramatic increase in population along the route", says Iarnrod Eireann and "will be attractive to customers travelling to places like . . . Drogheda for days out".

Four trains will run in each direction serving Pearse Street, Tara Street, Connolly, Malahide, Donabate, Rush and Lusk, Skerries, Balbriggan, Laytown and Drogheda stations.
