The FreshAer airline has said it plans to create 200 jobs at an operational headquarters in the Republic over the next six months.

British-based FreshAer, which intends to begin budget flight services from Dublin Airport next October, said it had agreed a lease on a 20,000-square-foot three-storey building in the IDA business campus at Swords in Dublin.

The company will be seeking staff with a range of qualifications, from administrative to senior technical staff.

FreshAer this week began the process of applying for its airline and tour operator licences.
