KATHRYN WALLS Co Down, sister of Air France crash victim:I'M DOING the run today in memory of my beautiful sister Eithne and her two friends Jane and Aisling who tragically died in the Air France plane crash two years ago.
They were all very fond of exercising and working out.
This is the second year we’ve done it. Last year the Riverdance folks very graciously offered to run it in memory of Eithne and with the assistance of Eithne’s hospital, the Royal Victoria Eye and Ear, my family set up a charitable fund, a research foundation.
Today there are 50 of us running for Eithne. We’ve got everyone – the director of the hospital, medical, nursing and support staff, a bunch of Riverdancers and this group Im with are all my cousins, sisters-in-law and friends. My mum is out there somewhere too so its a real family affair.
