The son of a murder victim received a six-month prison sentence yesterday for burglary. Anthony Beatty jnr (18), son of Anthony "Chester" Beatty, who was shot dead in a Dublin pub on November 30th, pleaded guilty at Dublin District Court to breaking into a house.
Garda Barry Butler said the defendant removed a rear window at a house in Drimnagh on August 2nd and stole a VCR and drill totalling £800 in value.
