The Northern Secretary, Dr Mo Mowlam, yesterday announced details of a promotional tour of North America aimed at attracting economic investment to Northern Ireland.
The First Minister, Mr David Trimble, and the Deputy First Minister, Mr Seamus Mallon, will accompany Dr Mowlam on her tour of 11 cities in the US and Canada.
"The tour will represent the most powerful message ever that now is the time for corporate America to look closely at the tremendous benefits Northern Ireland offers investors," said Dr Mowlam.
Northern councils have been encouraged to link their websites to the Industrial Development Board's, to give information to potential investors.
