Bangkok - Supporters of a controversial Thai monk warned yesterday that police could provoke a violent reaction if they tried to arrest him.
Thousands of supporters of abbot Dhammachayo have flocked to the monk's Dhammakaya temple complex on the outskirts of Bangkok since the Interior Ministry approved a warrant for his arrest on fraud charges on Monday.
