Sheffield Wednesday have sacked manager Paul Jewell today.
Chairman Howard Culley has resigned and Peter Shreeves has been appointed caretaker manager.
Jewell took over at Hillsborough last year after Wednesday were relegated from the Premier League. The club are bottom of the English first division. Reuters
