A new development at a beef processing factory in Monaghan is to open later this week, creating 120 new jobs.

A new development at a beef processing factory in Monaghan is to open later this week, creating 120 new jobs.

The AIBP Monaghan plant has been subject to an investment of €10 million and will use new technology to be more efficient.

The Monaghan plant currently employs 100 people and this will rise by 120 people by August 2008.

AIBP Monaghan is subsidiary of IFP which operates 30 facilities throughout Ireland and the UK specialising in chilled, frozen, and microwaveable snack meat products.
