One wit was heard to remark that if Tosca restaurant was bombed on Wednesday evening, the city's gene pool would take a hearty bashing. More beautiful people than you'd care to see in one place were gathered to celebrate the re-modelled model agency - Morgan The Agency. Rebecca Morgan MD delivered the speeches, while her mother Nan Morgan, who started the Morgan agency in 1973, and Eddie Shanahan who created The Agency, took back seats. Eddie began working as marketing manager at Arnott's last week.
Of course there was a large number of ridiculously tall models chatting over champagne and pizza and they were joined by stylists Helen Coady, Atlanta Rascher and Alannah Gallagher; designers Richard Lewis and Lyn Mar, who designed Rebecca's outfit; event manager Enda McGrattan; Lord Henry and Lady Iona Mount Charles there for their children, models Henrietta Conyngham and Alex Slane, and of course, Tosca owner, Norman Hewson, who was celebrating his birthday.
