Two of the four suspected cases of meningococcal meningitis in Cos Cork and Kerry have proved not to be the deadly disease while the other two remain unconfirmed, a Southern Health Board spokesperson said yesterday.

The SHB spokesperson rejected a call from Mr Bernard Allen TD, of Fine Gael, an SHB member, that information be made available about suspected cases.
