Two Co Dublin men, Mr Vincent Kelly (23) of Balgaddy, Lucan, and Mr Darren Dixon (23) of Skerries, were remanded in custody at a special sitting of the District Court on Saturday in Ballybay, Co Monaghan. They were both charged with the theft of a Mitsubishi Pajero jeep from Synge Street, Dublin, earlier this year. They will appear again at Castleblayney Court tomorrow.
The two, along with another man, were arrested by Garda Special Branch officers in Carraroe, Co Galway, last Thursday. They were charged under the Offences Against the State Act and taken to Monaghan.
