Two thousand people have signed a petition calling for a memorial at Richhill in Co Armagh to two UDR soldiers killed in separate IRA atrocities six years ago. It will be handed to Armagh City Council next week. Mrs Lorna Kelly, of Castle Gardens, in the village, lost her son, Roger (20), in a rocket attack on his Land-Rover patrol on March 1st, 1991. Two months later, Mrs Denise Blakely lost her husband, Paul, when terrorists sent a lorry laden with explosives crashing into Glenanne UDR base.
