Armagh's preparations for Sunday week's All-Ireland final received a boost today when forward John McEntee was given clearance to line out against Tyrone.

The Games Administration Committee of the GAA met last night to discuss an incident during the All-Ireland semi-final in which McEntee appeared to elbow Donegal's Barry Monaghan.

While the player was booked over the incident, the GAC decided against pursuing the matter further. A red card would have ruled the Crossmaglen man out of the final in 11 days' time.
