A man who was wounded in a shooting at the home of Mr Joseph McCloskey, who later fled his Derry home after his life was threatened, was released on bail yesterday. Mr Paul Thomas Wallace (22), from Ravenswood Park, Derry, was warned to stay away from the McCloskey home in the Shantallow estate and not to contact him or his family. Mr Wallace has denied possessing a handgun to endanger life and entering Mr McCloskey's home with intent to do him grievous bodily harm.
