Gardai in Ballinasloe, Co Galway, confirmed they are anxious to talk to a young man in connection with the murder of an arcade worker, Mr John Kennedy, three months ago.

The suspect, in his early 20s who lived locally, is believed to have left the State on the day Mr Kennedy was found bludgeoned to death.

Gardai have sought the help of British police in trying to trace the man, but so far there is no sign of him.

Mr Kennedy was found lying in a pool of blood on the floor of the Fun World amusement arcade in Ballinasloe in the early hours of August 19th.
