Man's body is found in river

The body of a man in his 40s was taken from the Fergus river in Ennis yesterday

The body of a man in his 40s was taken from the Fergus river in Ennis yesterday. Gardai have identified the man but will not release his name until relatives have been informed. A fisherman found the body at Doora Bridge. A post-mortem will be carried out today. A local man had been reported missing since last Tuesday.
