The Garda in Dún Laoghaire are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a man’s body this morning.
The body was found lying in Sussex Street at 6.20 a.m. by members of the ambulance service.
A garda spokeswoman said the man was in his 40s and they are not treating his death as suspicious at this time.
The scene has been preserved for technical examination.
