A man has been remanded in custody with consent to bail after he was charged in connection with a €120,000 drug seizure by members of the Cork City Divisional Drugs Squad,

Martin McBride (42), Gimont Avenue, Enniscorthy, Co Wexford, was charged with possession and possession for sale or supply of 10kg of cannabis at the South Ring Road on May 12th. Det Garda Fergal Long said Mr McBride made no reply to the charges. Judge Tim Lucey remanded him in custody to appear at Cork District Court on Wednesday.
