A Health and Safety Authority (HSA) investigation is underway following the death of a man on a construction site in Co Galway this afternoon.
The incident occurred at the Sportsground on College Road shortly after 1pm.
The deceased man is understood to be in his 20s.
HSA inspectors have been called to the scene and the site has been sealed off to allow for a technical examination by gardai.
