A man has died after he was struck by a lorry while he was delivering goods at a petrol station in Co Cork today.

A man has died after he was struck by a lorry while he was delivering goods at a petrol station in Co Cork today.

An articulated truck carrying sugar beet careered off the road and crashed into petrol pumps on the forecourt of a bar at Ballineen on the Bandon to Dunmanway road at around 11.30 a.m.

The man, who has not been named, is in his fifties and married with three children.
