A man who threw a small amount of cannabis on the ground during a drug arrest has been sentenced to one month's imprisonment for obstructing a drugs search on July 29th last, with a charge of failing to appear in court taken into account. Eamon O'Connor (25), of Benbulben Road, Drimnagh, Dublin, received a prison sentence at Dublin District Court yesterday for his first drug offence.
