Man injured in Belfast shooting

PSNI officers are investigating a punishment style shooting in west Belfast.

PSNI officers are investigating a punishment style shooting in west Belfast.

A man (24) sustained wounds to his arm and leg when he was attacked at about 9pm last night.

The man was driven in a car from the Glen Road area to Downfine Gardens where he was shot in an alleyway. He was taken to hospital for treatment.

A PSNI spokeswoman said it was thought that four males were involved in the shooting.
