A man has been arrested in relation to the disappearance of Wicklow man Stephen O'Meara earlier this year.
Gardaí confirmed this afternoon that a man is being held in Wicklow Garda station as part of the investigation into Mr O'Meara's disappearance.
The man was arrested in Wicklow town at around 10.30am and is being held under section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act.
Mr O'Meara (26) was last seen leaving his home in Rosehill in Wicklow Town at 6.30pm on August 6th, 2009.
