A 28-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Kevin McDaid in Co Derry last month.
Mr McDaid (49), was attacked by group of Protestants in the Heights area of Coleraine on May 24th after Rangers beat Celtic to the Scottish Premier League title.
Mr McDaid was killed just a few yards from his home when the 40-strong loyalist mob stormed into the area.
Damien Fleming (46) was also seriously injured in the assault.
The man arrested in the Coleraine area this morning is currently helping police with their inquiries.
