A man has been arrested in Limerick after the body of another man was discovered in an apartment in the city early this morning.
A Garda spokesman confirmed an investigation was under way after the body was found in an apartment at Dublin Road.
No further information was available about the deceased, but it is believed he died as a result of an assault.
The man is being questioned under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
