Gardaí in Co Monaghan are investigating the death of man whose body was found in a house in Ballybay today.
The man (57) was found with head injuries at 1.40am and pronounced dead just under two hours later.
Gardaí are treating the death as suspicious.
The house on Main Street has been sealed off and the assistant state pathologist Dr Michael Curtis has been notified.
Witnesses are asked to contact gardaí in Castleblaney.
