A man (32) is due in Dublin District Court today in connection with the seizure of 1,000 kilogrammes of cannabis over the weekend.
The man was the driver of a van that was stopped on the Clonshaugh Road in Pryor's Wood, Dublin, on Friday evening.
About 500 kilogrammes of cannabis were found in the van and a further 500 kilogrammes of cannabis were discovered in a search on a house. The combined haul has a estimated value of over €12 million
A significant quantity of cocaine and several firearms were also discovered.
