Man dies in Co Meath crash

Gardaí at Kells, Co. Meath are investigating a single-vehicle road crash in which a man died.

Gardaí at Kells, Co. Meath are investigating a single-vehicle road crash in which a man died.

The driver of an articulated lorry was seriously injured in the incident on the N52, Delvin to Kells Road, near Fordstown, at about 6.30pm yesterday.

He was taken to Midlands Regional Hospital, Mullingar, but died from his injuries this morning. The driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle.

The scene is being examined by Garda forensic collision investigators.
