A man in his late 40's has died following a road accident on the M50 motorway in Dublin early this morning.
The man was the sole occupant of a car which left the southbound carriageway and crashed about a mile before the junction with the N3 at about 3.45 a.m.
The man received serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles were involved.
