A man in his sixties has been killed after the SUV he was driving left the Galway to Clifden road early this morning.
The four wheel drive vehicle was found turned on its side in a river close to a bend at Ballinafad, Casmel, Co Galway.
The accident happened some time between 11pm last night and 9am.
